With Fulgent Genetics new product offering launch of Fulgent Oncology, I was tasked to develop a series of TRFs (Test Requisition Form) that are major tests the product line services.

Refreshing outdated design

The original design was blocky and used a lot of borders that are overcrowding against the content.

 

The goal

  • Reinterpreted the bordered and blocky design from prior by simplifying the sections and opening the fields

  • Assigned colors to differentiate the test offerings

  • Increased usability and legibility for each section, in addition to utilizing the branded colors to denote separation

  • Established a new design system for referencing future TRFs
